“I’m excited by this partnership with Ballotpedia because together we can get the best, most accurate candidate information out to voters before election day. With increasing numbers of people getting their information online, we need to guard against the spread of misinformation, or low quality information. CandidateVerification seeks to do just that. Online voter guides are the future, and working with Ballotpedia will help raise the bar in politics,” according to CandidateVerification Executive Director, David Doud.

“Empowering our readers with an interactive tool they can use to ask candidates to verify their backgrounds will create a constructive conversation between candidates and their constituents, particularly as candidates begin the screening process and voters weigh in with questions or encourage them to verify more,” says Leslie Graves.
